    • Amount: $600
    • Description: Support for local Federal Hill Main Street businesses to teach at Digital Harbor High School for a day, fostering community engagement and educational outreach.

    • Amount: $400
    • Description: Assistance for two or more local Federal Hill Main Street businesses to organize collaborative local events, promoting cooperation and synergy within the community.

    • Description: The BGE Energizing Small Business grant program, presented in partnership with Hello Alice and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), is offering $20K grants to help central Maryland businesses succeed and thrive.

  • Intuit Quickbooks Grant Program

    • Small-business owners in the United States can apply for one of 20, $10,000 grants being awarded by QuickBooks and parent company Intuit. Winners also get access to three months of mentorship resources, including a series of webinars.

      Businesses will be asked to submit a brief essay describing how the grant will help them overcome business challenges or achieve a business dream.

  • LegalZoom Fast Break for Small Business Grant Program

    • LegalZoom’s Fast Break for Small Business grant program, in partnership with the NBA and WNBA, will be awarding $1.5 million in grants to 150 small-business owners and $1.5 million in products and services to 3,000 entrepreneurs looking to start their own business.Small businesses that have been in operation for at least three months are eligible to apply for the individual $10,000 grants or up to $500 in LegalZoom products and services. Winners will be announced on social media. Action Opportunity Fund will administer the small-business grant awards.

  • Sign up Today for the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Online Community and be Eligible to Win up to 10K in Grant Funding

    • Business owners that sign up for the free Verizon Small Business Digital Ready online community will be eligible to apply for grants throughout the year. Here's how it works: Business owners can sign up for the free online resource, which aims to provide technical assistance, mentoring and other resources to underserved small businesses, and complete either courses, coaching or participation in community events to be eligible.

      The company provides up to $1M in grant funding a year.

  • National Science Foundation’s America’s Seed Fund

    • The National Science Foundation’s America’s Seed Fund provides millions in grant funding to small businesses and startups with big ideas. Applicants submit project pitches any time during the year, and if invited to submit a proposal, could end up getting funded. The grant program gives out roughly $200 million per year to eligible businesses.

  • National Association for the Self-Employed Growth Grant

    • The National Association for the Self-Employed has its own $4,000 growth grant that it offers on a rolling basis. The catch? You have to be a member. The group has awarded nearly $1M in grants to members since 2006.

  1. Vacancy Assistance – We provide information on available commercial spaces and vacancies in Federal Hill to help new businesses find suitable locations.
  2. Connecting with Resources – We introduce new businesses to relevant resources and organizations that can aid in their growth and development.
  3. Access to Funding Opportunities – We help you identify and apply for grants, loans, and other financial assistance programs available to small businesses.
  4. Networking & Collaboration – We create connections with other businesses, organizations, and stakeholders in the Federal Hill community to foster collaboration and partnerships.
  5. Promotional Support – We showcase businesses through our marketing channels and events to increase visibility and attract customers.
  6. Events – We create and support local events that bring the community to the heart of the business district and encourage residents to shop and support our local businesses.
  7. Community Engagement – We encourage participation in community events and initiatives to integrate new businesses into the fabric of Federal Hill and build relationships with local residents and stakeholders.
  8. Ongoing Support & Advocacy – We serve as a resource and advocate for small businesses, offering ongoing support and assistance as they establish and grow their presence in Federal Hill.
  9. Sourcing Solutions – If you have a problem that needs fixing, or an idea that you believe serves the whole community, we want to hear from you! Even if we aren’t the organization with direct power to fix the problem, we are happy to help interface with the agency that can, and/or find resources to address problems that affect our business district.
